Doronko Wanko is coming to Switch, and PC DLC is on the way
Casual-yet-mischievous mess-making adventure game Doronko Wanko is already available for PC, and now it will also be coming digitally to Nintendo Switch. You play as a tiny fluffy canine cannonball, otherwise known as a Pomeranian. Your only goal is to wreak havoc in your mom’s squeaky-clean house. When Doronko Wanko comes to Nintendo Switch, it will include three new playable puppy friends to add to the mischief; this addition to the game will be released for PC as DLC.
There is no such thing as too much mess. Roll in puddles, trot into clean areas, and let loose and shake! Mud will be everywhere, and the housekeeping bill will be insane, but Mom could never hate such a cute little face, right? Spreading mud everywhere, like across countertops and shelves, is only part of the fun. Liquids that stain add to your artwork, leaving smears of tomato juice, wine, coffee, and ink. If that’s not enough, boop the right power buttons on appliances such as fans to fling the grime farther than you could do on your own.
Developed and published by Bandai Namco Studios, Doronko Wanko will be released for Nintendo Switch during Q2 2025. It is currently available for PC via Steam.
Cleaning becomes cozy in Muri: WildWoods
In Muri: WildWoods, you play as the titular character. She is a small creature who can make a big difference. You have just arrived on an island, tracking the source of corruption. As you clean deep into the woods, a heron steals your wander gun and flees the area! Explore the island, solve puzzles, make friends, and clean up the corruption.
Puzzles can be solved with your paws or different modes on your water gun. This brings you closer to that dang heron… and the corruption’s source.
Developed and published by Speldosa Interactive, Muri: WildWoods will be released for PC via Steam.
There’s (already) a new trailer for Ruffy and the Riverside
Two weeks ago, Ruffy and the Riverside’s gameplay was shown off in a new (at the time) trailer. Head to November 25’s catch-up coffee for more information about the game. Last week, another trailer appeared during the OTK Winter Games Expo; it came alongside information about a new platform and new language localizations. The new platform isn’t too exciting: it will be available for PC via Steam and now, also via Epic. Ruffy and the Riverside was already planned to support multiple languages at launch (English, French, German, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese) and now it is confirmed three more languages will be available — Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
A new trailer for the game (above) was revealed alongside console and localization news during the OTK Winter Games Expo. It shows Ruffy using his SWAP powers to copy a vine texture onto a waterfall, allowing him to climb it, and turn water into lava to defeat an enemy.
Developed by Zockrates Laboratories UG and published by Phiphen Games, Ruffy and the Riverside will be released for PC via Steam/Epic, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series in early 2025.
A new teaser trailer for Henry Halfhead announces its release window
