The key art for Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

More Hello Kitty is usually a good thing. More Animal Crossing is usually a good thing. So putting them together must equal more good things, right? Travel to Big Adventure Park, where friendships are key and adventure is around the corner, in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The game, at least for launch, is an Apple Arcade exclusive; it will be available on Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, and Mac computers.

The game begins with My Melody being invited to open a gift shop at Big Adventures Park. She invites Hello Kitty and friends to come along – And this includes you! Things go a wrong upon arriving at the park, and everyone gets separated and the park abandoned. Players join forces with Hello Kitty to restore the theme park to its former glory and create the ultimate island paradise.

The player’s character is created in a Sanrio-style, and will get to know iconic characters like Kuromi, Badtz-Maru, Cinnamoroll, Chococat, and even Aggretsuko. (That’s it. I’m sold.) Share gifts, complete quests, and take part in activities to deepen your friendship bonds. Redecorate cabins to attract new visitors. Create a stylish wardrobe, solve mysterious puzzles, cook recipes, collect critters, fish, and explore the island. All of this can happen solo or alongside a friend.

Learn about your new friends by discovering their likes and questing alongside them, eventually becoming BFFs. Explore by running, jumping, and gliding. Dive deep into a magical underwater works, cook dishes, and craft useful tools. A custom wardrobe can be created by collecting and dying clothes. Oh, and one last thing… you can become a mermaid!

She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
