The beta for Might & Magic Heroes VI is about to open up, with three single player and one multiplayer map. And to celebrate, Ubisoft has released a teaser trailer.
For those not familiar with the series (anyone?) Might & Magic is an addictive blend of turn based strategy and RPG. You build up cities and armies, and then go beat up the enemy in a quest for world domination.
It’s the kind of game that you can lose hours upon hours to, and it’s been a while between bites – which is precisely why the new game is looking really, really good.
I have to say – I'm very excited about this one. I love these rpg/strategy hybrids (playing some older strategy games right now, Fantasy Wars and Elven Legacy). I'm not usually real big on betas, but looking forward to this game's overall release

I'm the same. I'll pass on the Beta, but assuming my computer can handle it, this is a day one buy for me.
I'd also love for some of the older Might & Magic games to be released on the iPad – the format is perfect for the series.
But for now, back to Magic the Gathering Tactics 🙂

Hmmmm Very interested in this one! It's a good chance to see if my laptop can handle it 😀
I was quite into Kings Bounty, but I did find myself thinking I might as well be playing Might and Magic all the while
Assuming everyone is able to play it, I shall see you online, mr Dungeons Dragons 😀
Not sure if I'll day 1 this or not – but I'll certainly consider it.
@Dungeons Dragons – I just did a fairly large review on King's Bounty recently – well, the Legend, I haven't gotten to play the sequels yet (though I do have them). I enjoyed the game quite a bit, though it was often compared to Might & Magic Heroes.
