Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale (D&DD) brought a lot of promise with it when it released for Xbox LIVE last month. A hack ‘n slash with RPG elements in the spirit of Baldur’s Gate? Sign me up. But what Atari ended up giving us was something that never quite attained that lofty goal.

Good review, if disappointing. This was something I was really looking forward to at first, but I've read very similar things to what you posted – specifically the bugs, which are something of a killer for me. I just really can't stand running into them, they killed games like The Ball and Fallout: New Vegas for me.

Yeah, at first I thought something was wrong with my console, since (although I didn't mention it) I had some freezing problems too- then when the game started to go downhill I though maybe I somehow missed something storywise. 'Nope' on both.
