Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below coming to PC
Recently released to high praise on the PlayStation 4, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is set to come to PC via Steam on December 3. The game is the first full-scale RPG in the Dragon Quest series to land on PC. This version will automatically include 13 DLC items originally included in the PlayStation 4 Slime Edition. It is available for pre-purchase now.
Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 3: The Last Place You Look comes out this week
The third episode of Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode is out on November 24 for virtually all platforms imaginable. The first episode was good but the second episode was poor, so I expect the third episode will truly set the tone for the story arc as a whole. In The Last Place You Look, Jesse but locate the last member of the Order of the Stone. More importantly, there’s a lot of really scary Enderman involved in the process. The episode is available as a stand-alone purchase and as part of the season pass.
PlayStation 2 emulation coming to PlayStation 4
When the Star Wars Battlefront bundle launched on PS4, it included a voucher to play several older Star Wars games, and those from the PS2 generation seemed to run via emulation. Several news sources e-mailed Sony to ask about this, as there has never been an option to play PlayStation 2 games on the PS4 previously. Sony’s official statement is vague, but definite: “We are working on utilizing PS2 emulation technology to bring PS2 games forward to the current generation. We have nothing further to comment at this point in time.”
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is coming to PC
That’s right, there is another Square Enix game heading to PC in the near future. This time it is the final game in the FFXIII trilogy, Lightning Returns. It will be available on PC (via Steam, of course) December 10. Players control Lightning, the hero, on a quest to save the world from the destruction that will occur in only thirteen days. This version of Lightning Returns will include all DLC from the original console version, such as Japanese voice-overs, costumes, and weapons.
