Twitter is amazing. A lot of news begins with the chirps of users, including this story. As noted by Twitter user @lifelower, Hipster Whale’s Pac Man 256 has been rated for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on a Taiwan Game Software Rating Regulations Board list. Hipster Whale and Bandai Namco have been tight-lipped on the matter thus far, but previous leaks from similar documents have been found to be truthful.

Pac Man 256 is the arcade game we all grew up loving in a free-to-play mobile (and soon console) form. The player chomps their way through little white dots and fruit while trying to get as far as possible, running from an endless string of characters threatening to end poor Pac Man’s existence.

Due to the lack of official confirmation, I’ve got nothing new to show you (yet) — but in the meantime, here’s the original trailer for Pac Mac 256’s iPhone release last year.
Hipster Whale is also known for Crossy Road, a modern/mobile take on Frogger. In my totally biased opinion, I recommend you check their three games: Pac Mac 256, Crossy Road, and the newly-released Disney Crossy Road.
