Ho, ho, ho, and Merry Christmas!
Christmas is a wonderful time of year. If you’re in the north then you get to enjoy snow, hot drinks, the wonderful colours of decorations and the smell of a freshly-cut Christmas tree. If you’re south of the equator, it means blistering hot weather, beer, and the wonderful colours of decorations and the smell of a freshly-cut Christmas tree.
Christmas is a time for good food, family, and friends. It’s a time for celebration, and Christmas is the time of year where it’s okay to be a kid all over again, and count down the days to gifts and celebrations one day at a time. Each year we get into the spirit of the season ourselves with a countdown of our own; the 24 Games of Christmas!
So please do join in the countdown with us, crack open some great games, and enjoy the season!
Yeah, you knew this was coming… But seriously, Miku games make for excellent Christmas gaming, and for a couple of reasons; firstly, it’s easy to pick one up and play for a couple of minutes – or hours – at a time, meaning you can fit it in with whatever Christmas schedule you might have.
But much more importantly than that, Project Diva Future Tone is an out-and-out happy game. In an industry so filled with games that are focused on being serious or “hardcore” – even the rhythm games – having one that’s unafraid to be bright, happy and cute, makes for a rare bright-and-cheerful game during a season that’s meant to be bright and cheerful.
There’s also a couple of tracks that I would argue are out-and-out Christmas tunes, even if they’re not Christmas carols. So download this one and fill the home with wonderful, happy music, won’t you? Or wait for the western release early next year. Either way, make sure you pick it up.
When you FINALLY get a break from reviewing games to play your favourite one. #PS4share https://t.co/g9wT85k9JT pic.twitter.com/bBmb4uwZZz— Miku McMikuFace (@DigitallyDownld) December 7, 2016
