It’s been a long time since the last proper Vampire: The Masquerade title. The other great pen-and-paper RPG, after Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire is all about how supernatural creatures of horror live within our world, and right under our noses…. and in these games you play as the monsters.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has a new, extended gameplay trailer from E3, which gives us a much greater sense of how it will play. It’s got a bit of everything going for it – there’s gunplay and crunching melee attacks, special “magical” abilities tied in to your vampire powers, and what looks like rich dialogue trees, with plenty of potential moral consequences to your actions.
Bloodlines 2 releases early 2020 across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is being published by Paradox Interactive, and that publisher very rarely puts a foot wrong.
