Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is a remaster of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army that includes revamped visuals, quality-of-life updates, new voice-overs, and an overhauled battle system; it was last seen featured in this month’s big Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. In the game, take on the role of apprentice detective Raidou Kuzunoha XIV as he moonlights as a Devil Summoner. He is trying to find a young heiress who showed up at a detective agency asking them to kill her who was kidnapped the instant those words leave her lips. He’ll search all over the city, including a dark juncture between the real world and the netherworld called the Dark Realm. Work with demon allies to solve the mysteries in your path. Characters
Kenzo Satake is the face of Senju-ku. The young captain of a yakuza group, he is well-liked by his men and fellow citizens alike thanks to his contributions to neighbourhood safety. He knows how to use his reputation and wide network of contacts, providing important information when investigating cases.
Sadakichi had doubts regarding the secret Super Solider Project being carried out under Munakata’s leadership and deserts the army, trying to contact a newspaper reporter to expose them. He is actively being pursued as an army deserter. He has a laid-back attitude but his expressions show he’s no ordinary person.
Kiyoshi Daidouji is the youngest brother of the Daidouji family and the uncle of Kaya, the missing girl. He seems to be concerned about her kidnapping but he’s also rather suspicious. He runs a textile company that struggles to keep up with the times and is on the verge of bankruptcy.
The Hell’s Pawns abducted Kaya. They have inhuman fighting power and are connected to the Super Soldier Project.
Red Cape is a mysterious figure causing fear in the Capital’s citizens. It’s been seen in several locations and everyone is talking about it. Some say it abducts people while others claim it randomly attacks them.
Demons
Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army features over 120 demons, including over 50 new ones when compared to Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army. Many demons seen in Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance are part of this list, including Nezha, Berphegor, Asura, Ophanim, Cybele, Mermaid, Pabilsag, Archne, and Turbo Granny.
Character Progression
New to this version of the game, Summoner Skills can be learned from weapons. There are two types of skills: Combat Skills that help in battle and Sword Skills that take effect automatically when equipped. These skills give Raidou abilities such as a powerful attack, increased resilience, and more. Equip the skills that give you a leg up on your opponent—and even change Combat Skills during battle. Your number of Summoner Skills increases based on the weapon types you create through Sword Alchemy.
Allied demons can learn two special skills, Combat Skills or Passive Skills. Like Summoner Skills, these also take effect during battle or automatically when equipped. Allied demons gain skills through grinding and demon fusions. Teach your demon friends specific skills using skill books in stages, using the same one multiple times. These skills can be inherited through demon fusions.
Each of your allied demons has a specific amount of Loyalty to you (trust in you). Their Loyalty increases from participating in battle, defeating enemies, and being on the field with you. Once its Loyalty is maxed, it will learn a Passive Skill and gain useful materials/items. The total amount of your allied demons’ Loyalty determines your rank as a Devil Summoner. When it reaches certain thresholds, it can earn you new titles and increase the number of demons you can use.
