Koei Tecmo has posted an FAQ for Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme
Romance adventure game Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme is the first full-on emotional lovefest in the series. It launched late last week, and a couple of days prior Koei Tecmo published an FAQ for the game. It’s small though, with two sections (specs and bonuses) with two questions each. Before I get there, though, below is some eye candy in a new short trailer; you can find more trailers in past catch-ups here, here, and here.
The Specs FAQ confirms no differences in expression depending on the game’s platform or region before going into some features that vary depending on platforms. The PC version supports a keyboard and mouse, you can set it to pause and mute if the window is inactive, upscaling is available, and more. The PlayStation 5 version features two resolution modes, Prioritize Resolution (4K resolution)and Prioritize FPS (high-definition resolution). The PlayStation 4 version only supports high-definition resolution. Read the full FAQ to learn about bonuses.
Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme was released in Japan and Asia on March 27 for PC via Steam/DMM, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The Japanese versions only support Japanese, while the Asian (or “Global”) versions support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
Watch the opening movie for Calamity Angels: Special Delivery Service
Compile Heart-developed delivery service RPG Calamity Angels: Special Delivery Service is set to launch on June 26 in Japan and Idea Factory International will publish it in the West soon after. The game is about a rag-tag group of kooky carriers who must keep their parcels safe while trekking through treacherous terrains, battling monsters, and meeting other delivery services who want to be bigger and better than yours. Last week, Compile Heart revealed Calamity Angels: Special Delivery Service’s opening movie in Japanese.
Because you’re running the delivery service, you will deal with orders while also having to keep your crew in check. When unhappy, they could ignore your commands… but this isn’t always a bad thing. Find new jobs on the Bulletin Board before you accept one, inspect the package, perfectly pack it with no gaps, and get your crew the gear and tools they need to drop it off safely.
Developed by Idea Factory/Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory International, Calamity Angels: Special Delivery will be released digitally and physically for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch “this summer” (AKA Q3 2025) in the West.
Three Atelier heroines have joined Warriors: Abyss
For the first time, alchemists from Gust’s Atelier series have joined the roster for Omega Force and Koei Tecmo’s roguelite hack’n’slack action game Warriors: Abyss. A free update has added Sophie from the Atelier Sophie series, Ryza from the Atelier Ryza series, and Yumia from Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. Each one has abilities to enhance each other’s skills and appearance rates. If all three are in your lineup, they become even more powerful. Also, try switching it up and combining them with other characters; for example, Yumia plus Magoichi Saika equals enhanced abilities.
There are also two new DLC packs available, the Atelier Series Vacation Costume Set and Atelier Series Academy Costume Set.
Developed by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo, Warriors: Abyss is available digitally for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series. It features Japanese voices and text in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian.
