It’s that time of year again! We’re counting down the days to Christmas with our own little “advent calendar” – one new game to play over the holiday season each and every day.
As the year winds down, things get really busy. We’ve got Christmas parties to attend, the end of year rush on work, and all the rest of it. But it’s also a time where we take holidays, find a moment to relax, and enjoy the company of others. This is the best chance to catch up on some key games that you might have missed from the year… or just play that multiplayer game that you’ve been waiting to get a crew together for.
Day 19: Fate/Stay Night Remastered
Give yourself the gift of some good literature this Christmas. Fate/Stay Night is one of the absolute masterpieces of the genre. Beautifully written, conceptually brilliant, and very smart, this VN would have done well as an actual novel released in book stores. That’s rare enough for the VN genre, but there’s so much more to Fate as well.
Stunning art, for example. Amazing characters. Specifically, Rin Tohsaka. Sure this remaster removes the sex scene, but otherwise this is the full Fate experience, finally (officially) in English, and it’s exceptional. Don’t miss out.
