Hatsune Miku Project Diva Megamix+ PC Review

It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve had the excuse to write about the supreme Goddess, Hatsune Miku. SEGA’s gone quiet on video games, and I’ve just not been able to line up a trip to Japan at the same time as the annual concerts over there.

This year I don’t need to worry about that at all, because Miku is touring Australia and New Zealand for the very first time.

The tour takes place in November, starting in Auckland on November 15, before stopping at Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. She’ll play at each location for one day only, so you better clear your calendar.

If you’ve never been to a Miku concern before, this is something that has to be experienced. I’ve written it in the past, but it is surreal, fascinating, and hugely entertaining. It’s actually been a few years since I last went to one, so I’m interested in seeing how the technology that allows Miku to appear “in the flesh” on stage has improved.

Basically, forget Taylor Swift. This is the concert to be at. If you’re keen on grabbing tickets, please leave a few for me for pay day, but all the details are over here: https://mikuexpo.com/nzaus2024/.

  • Hi Matt, hop you will have a better experience with the concert and specially its logistics than some of the American and Canadian venues have had.
