I love how on point eastasiasoft is with its showcases: they are quite quick and happen often, versus being long and happening rarely. Today’s showcase focuses on 12 titles launching by the end of the year and into early 2024. There’s even a full-on game announcement for Dead End City. The individual trailers below are separate from what’s seen in the showcase, so it’s worth watching the showcase in its entirety as well! If you missed it, be sure to check out eastasiasoft’s last showcase.

Game highlights

Burning Secrets

Mixing high fantasy adventure with gay romance themes, Burning Secrets is a bara visual novel about setting off on a journey to rescue an old wizard friend. Choose between multiple routes while traveling through lush, inspiring landscapes. Develop relationships to see the lighthearted narrative through to the end while unlocking steamy CG scenes along the way. There are multiple endings to achieve and alternate romances to explore. Burning Secrets will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on November 10, 2023.

Ravva and the Phantom Library

In retro side-scrolling platformer Ravva and the Phantom Library, take on the role of a young summoner apprentice and call upon four companions while trying to escape the nightmarish Phantom Library. Enter the world of haunted books in any order you choose, defeating each book’s master before facing the one who controls the library. Re-enter books you’ve cleared to discover new secrets or possibly even unlock a special ending. The game combines clever level design with vibrant puzzle art and precise controls, and features three difficulty settings. Ravva and the Phantom Library will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One on December 20, 2023.

Ikkarus and the Prince of Sin

Yaoi-themed fantasy adventure visual novel Ikkarus and the Prince of Sin has players managing their daily routine, traveling the land, completing side quests, pursuing three romances, and discovering six unique endings. Ikkarus returns to his village after slaying a dragon and unexpectedly gets ownership of a tavern as his reward. The place is a disaster and its debt is over 50,000 gold pieces. Heroic Ikkarus accepts the challenge, determined to fix the place up and prove himself. He enlists other young men to help, and new bonds form as they work at the tavern making drinks and hunt monsters on the side. There are difficulty settings to help focus more on story or more on gameplay. Ikkarus and the Prince of Sin will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One On January 10, 2024.

Saga of the Moon Priestess

In Saga of the Moon Priestess, tragedy strikes Lunaria as the prince is kidnapped by an unknown assailant. The fate of the land rests in young hero Sarissa; she’ll have to fight, explore, and figure out how to rescue the prince while armed with nothing but her spear and the miraculous ability to communicate with the Goddess of the Moon. There are five dungeons, seven life containers, 15 items to collect, and countless enemies to defeat. Saga of the Moon Priestess will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One in early 2024.

She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
