Nexon and Arc System Works have unveiled a new video for their upcoming fighting game, DNF Duel, which features a fresh new character.
The Swift Master is a figure who, according to the description, is “a powerful wizard of the wind who upends all those who resist him with the strength of a sky-ripping hurricane.” Unsurprisingly, given the name, his fighting style is flashy and fast, with the trailer featuring a whole lot of tornadoes.
DNF Duel will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on June 28. When you look at the actual earnings, Dungeon Fighter Online, which inspired this game, is one of the top games played throughout the world and was only a matter of time before the developers and publishers looked to expand this IP in new directions.
This has been in development for some time – the first trailer for the game launched in 2020. There’s a good range of characters that we know about now, with the Dragon Knight, Vanguard, Berserker, Inquisitor, Grappler, Striker, Kunoichi, Crusader, Ranger, Hitman, Ghost Blade, Launcher, and the Troubleshooter all featured in previous trailers.
This will be a full-featured fighting game, with a story mode, practice, single-player, online, and local multiplayer options.
