Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is one of the most overtly Australian games that we’ve seen… across the entire history of video games. The distinctively Australian mascot character, locations, aesthetics and humour has helped the series stick in people’s minds, from as far back as the PlayStation 2.

Collectors can rejoice, with a HD remaster double-pack of the first two games getting a physical release soon. If that does well, who knows what else we can expect from the series.

In this video we have a good chat with two of the senior people from the Ty series developer, Krome, about this series, making Aussie games, and the local industry.
