First released way back in 1988, Nintendo’s Famicom Detective Club, a duology of two mystery-themed visual novels, is finally getting a localisation and release into English.

I love these games. I can’t wait to review them, but what I can say, right now, in the preview stage, is that I love them. They are excellent detective mystery stories that really cut to the Japanese love of the traditional form of the genre.

Get an early look at part of the game (and developer, Mages’, excellent modernisation efforts) as I chat through some of the reasons I love what I’ve seen of these two so far.
