Square Enix’s next big release is a remaster of the GameCube classic, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Unfortunately thanks to COVID-19 there weren’t hands-on preview sessions for this title, but Square Enix did send us plenty of B-roll, unedited footage to get a feel for what to expect from the game.
Having played the original to death back in the day, I have a strong nostalgia for it, and I’m really liking what I’m seeing and hearing about this remaster. In this video I discuss what made the original such a special experience, and what to expect from this new one.
