Out Run is a true classic of the racing genre. It’s a notoriously difficult genre to create something that lasts, as racing games tend to require complex physics models that can make older ones feel unplayable to people comfortable with newer ones. However, Out Run is certainly a game that has stood the test of time and has its passionate fans to this day.
In the first of two retro Let’s Plays that will go up this week, Harvard takes a look at Out Run in 2020. How did he get along with its simple, colourful charm?
