Koei Tecmo and Sony have released a “Beta” demo of Nioh onto the PlayStation store for testing on PS4. I’ve played a couple of hours of it and come away so incredibly impressed. This game is, already, a marked step up from the original, and has managed to build on the original in ways that are both exciting and refreshing.
We’ll have a full review of the full game when it gets close to launch, don’t you worry about that. In the meantime, you do have a couple more days with the demo being live if you want to check it out for yourself.
Just be aware that it is, if anything, even more challenging and difficult than any of the “Souls-likes” that have come before it.
