Most people are still dilligently plugging their way through Astral Chain, but the next big Nintendo Switch exclusive is just around the corner. Daemon X Machina is a mech action game, and it is looking very fine indeed.
Publisher, Marvelous, has released the launch trailer of the game, ahead of its actual launch on September 13. This is all in Japanese, but you can get a good sense of the kind of style and aesthetic the developer was aiming for. It actually looks like a good complement to Astral Chain.
It’s not like things slow down from here either. Dragon Quest XI is just around the corner, and Nintendo’s got plenty planned to roll out through the rest of the year too. What a tail end of 2019 things are shaping up to be.
