You know of Yoko Taro, right? The auteur who went from arthouse game director to mainstream hit maker thanks to NieR: Automata? He’s been busy with other projects since, of course, and we’re about to get one of those in the west; the mobile title, SINoALICE.
SINoALICE has been a reasonable hit in its native homeland of Japan, where it was released in 2017, and has since been downloaded over four million times. It provides players with a “dark retelling of classic fairy tales within an unsettling fantasy world,” which sounds about right for the guy behind NieR.
The game will release worldwide in English, for both Andoid and iOS, in June. The worldwide release is being handled by Nexon.
