News by Matt S.

Just a couple of days after I mentioned how much I was looking forward to Date A Live Rio-Reincarnation on the Digitally Uploaded podcast this coming month, Idea Factory International had to come along and crush me – the game has now been delayed to June.

The port of the three visual novels in the Date A Live series (yes, all three) will now land in North America on July 23, and Europe (and Australia) on July 26. The games – which feature character art by the always-incredible Tsunako, will release on PlayStation 4 (with two modified CGs, for people concerned about such things), as well as PC via Steam. The Steam version will also offer Japanese and Chinese subtitles, if this is of interest.

Ah well. A month’s delay isn’t the end of the world. It’s not like June is any less packed for game releases anyway, so a bit of breathing space there is probably for the best.
