Who doesn’t like Earth Defense Force? It’s B-grade action and storytelling at its absolute finest, and now the latest title is just around the corner.
And, based on our first hands-on time with the game, this one is good, with some major new improvements on the series. Once upon a time EDF was like Ed Wood films – they were a great deal of fun, but they weren’t necessarily well made. Now, under development by WWE specialist, Yuke’s, this new EDF brings together the same aesthetic and vibe, but looks set to be a genuinely good game on top of it.
