The more we see of Blade Strangers, the upcoming character mash-up fighter featuring a wide range of indie characters (from Cave Story to Code of Princess to Shovel Knight), the more we look forward to it.
This new trailer for Noko from Umihara Kawase looks great. Great looking character with a super-short skirt (and twintails, after a fashion) checks off the fanservice component, while the brief bit of action that we see continues to show a fighting game that looks refined and elegant… and that’s really impressive for what will be a new IP and franchise. Fighting games are harder to get right than most.
The game releases in “Summer” (Winter for us Aussies), on PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
