It’s that time of year again! The decorations are out, the house smells of Christmas thanks to the tree in the living room, presents are sitting under the tree and all the good food is on the table. Let’s not beat around the bush (or Christmas tree for that matter): Mario Party: The Top 100 could have been a better game. Nonetheless, the fact remains that it features some of the best minigames from a party series that has captured the hearts of millions. Yes, everyone has their favourite Mario Party games and chances are you’ll find one of them here. The zany multiplayer action is still alive and kicking, guaranteeing a healthy supply of giggles and resentment from any you decide to play with. It might be tougher setting up a 3DS session with four players in the age of the Switch, but with that free time that Christmas delivers in spades, you’ve got a chance to organise a party for the ages.
