After a week’s hiatus (down here in Australia it’s winter and that means sickness season), we’re back! This week on the podcast we look at a wide range of different topics.

First up, are games ever really “boring?” It’s a word that often gets thrown around, but you have to wonder if it’s really boredom or a lack of understanding that’s driving the criticism – we talk about that in the context of Valkyria Revolution a lot this week.

We also look at the game releases in July (finally! A relatively quite month for releases), and then chat about RPG Maker; a series of accessible game development tools that we’ve all been using for many years, and there’s a new one just released on Nintendo 3DS.

Thanks as always for listening, and catch us on our social media if you’d like!

And if you liked the music in this week’s episode, here’s the track list for you:

Nostalogic – MEIKO
Tawna Bonus Round Music – Crash Bandicoot
Spread the Wings – Garou Mark of the Wolves
Marching – Valkyria Revolution
