At E3, we saw an announcement trailer for Berserk Warriors that didn’t actually show any gameplay, but certainly managed to catch our attention nonetheless. Now we’ve got some screens, and whoo boy is this game looking visceral in its violence.

Berserk is, of course, one brutally adult anime and manga franchise, which concerned me a little, as the Warriors games have never approached material this dark. My main concern was whether the game would be willing to capture that kind of material.
These screens put one half of that question to rest – the gore on show is significant indeed, and looks appropriately wet and sticky.
We’re still not sure if Omega Force and Koei Tecmo will be willing to go all the way with the sex content too, but either way, the more we’re seeing of this game, the more we’re looking forward to it.
