This week we focus entirely on the JRPG genre and get back to our roots with Japanese games!

Matt and Alan talk about how they “discovered” the genre, what it was about it that they like so much, and some of the impact that the genre has had on modern games. We name drop a lot of Final Fantasy and so on this week, in other words, because like most kids that grew up through the Game Boy and NES/SNES era of games, there wasn’t that many other examples of the genre to experience.
