Square Enix is celebrating NieR’s sixth birthday in style, holding an event later this month.
NieR Music Concert & Talk Live will be held on 16 April (this Saturday!) at the EX Theatre in Roppongi, Tokyo. For the Talk part of the event, series director Yoko Taro and other developers of NieR: Automata will be on hand to release (and discuss) some new information about the game. The Concert portion will feature music from the original NieR title, but will also premiere new music from Automata.
As a teaser for the event, the NieR website currently features a preview of the NieR Automata theme. The game is expected to be released for PlayStation 4 later this year.
