It’s been a long time coming, and the time to rejoice is now: Gust’s Atelier series is finally coming to the PlayStation 4 after release upon release ignoring the current-gen console. Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on June 10 of this year.

The 17th Atelier game is set in what resembles a medieval European town. Sophie, a novice Alchemist, learns she owns a book that has a soul and holds all the secrets of her craft. The book becomes her mentor, and as Sophie grows stronger she decides to embark on a quest to learn of the book’s origin.
The staff at Gust believe Atelier Sophie to be “the new standard for the Atelier series,” and they have poured everything they’ve got into rebuilding the game’s signature system from scratch. To celebrate the upcoming launch of Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, Koei Tecmo is releasing a limited edition boxed set of the game. Available exclusively via its online store (with pre-orders beginning March 22 at 12 p.m. GMT), the limited edition includes the PS4 version of the game, a 2-disc original soundtrack with 38 tracks, a hardcover art book, 5 mini art prints, and a cloth poster.
