There is no way to emphasize my eternal love of all things Minecraft at this time, so I’m just going to jump right into the story. Telltale has announced that the first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is set to drop within mere weeks, on October 13. The episode, titled Order of the Stone, is the first of five in the narrative take on Mojang’s epic open-world builder.

In an unexpected development, Telltale has also announced that season pass discs are expected to ship to stores soon after the initial release date on October 27; in the past, physical copies of Telltale games have only been made available after all episodes have been released. With the disc, updates will be made available as more episodes are released.
Minecrat: Story Mode’s Order of the Stone release date of October 13 is worldwide, and includes most current consoles: PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Mac, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The Apple and Android versions will drop two days later on October 15. No words on when the game will be coming to Wii U or PS Vita.
