Jack the Ripper joins Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate

During Sony’s E3 press conference, Matt predicted that “perhaps, just perhaps, a Jack the Ripper-like character shows up somewhere.” He must be psychic. Not only is Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate getting a Ripper-like character, they are getting the Jack The Ripper. Okay, since nobody really knows who the infamous serial killer is (although there are several strong cases), it won’t be the real Jack The Ripper, but surely a good approximation of him nonetheless.

The catch? Jack the Ripper is actually part of a DLC campaign bearing his name. It’s still awesome and creepy though, as you can see in the trailer.

The season’s pass for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will include the Jack the Ripper campaign, the Last Maharaja missions, a permanent XP bonus, and more. The game itself launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 23; the DLC will follow later.
