FINALLY! As much as we love Civilization (and we really, really do), strategy fans have been waiting for ages and ages for Firaxis to head back to the stars… the same place that served as inspiration for the truly awesome Alpha Centurai.
And so I think it goes without saying that Beyond Earth… “Civilization in space” looks and sounds really, really, really good to us. Playing around with futuristic technology to wage love or war on other space facing races? Yep, that’s exactly where you take the brilliant Civilization formula and expand on it without coming up with another “true” sequel.
