News by Clark A.If you happen to fancy Lovecraftian creatures posing as young ladies (and surely the populace craves this life necessity), NIS Americahas your back. 2012’s satirical fantasy anime Nyaruko: Crawling With Love! is now available on Blu-Ray in North America and with a premium bundle to boot.
Nyaruko promises action, unrequited love, and more parodies than you can shake some ambiguous, gruesome appendage at. Here’s the show’s the official synopsis:
Mahiro Yasaka finds his quiet life thrown into chaos when he’s attacked one night by a fearsome demon. Luckily for Mahiro, Nyaruko, the Crawling Chaos, has been sent by the Planetary Defense Agency to protect him. It turns out all of the creatures from Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos are in fact just aliens! Soon enough, Kuko, the Ravenous Chaos, and Hasuta, the Deity of Wind, have entwined themselves in Mahiro’s life as well. Follow Mahiro and gang as they fight for their lives, learn about love, discover intergalactic video games, and perhaps even save the world!
All episodes are in 1080p with Japanese audio and English subtitles. In addition to all 12 episodes of the first season, the bundle also includes a 32 page hardcover art book and a collectible slipcase. You can see all of the bundle’s complete contents in the rather colourful display below.
