In a month of very few game releases, we’re quite ecstatic to hear that Octodad: Dadliest Catch is set to release in just a few short weeks.
For the uninitiated, Octodad: Dadliest Catch follows the exploits of the titular Octodad, who is attempting to hold his life together and keep his true identity hidden from his loving wife and kids. Even the simplest of household chores, like cooking and cleaning, prove difficult for our marine friend, who has to deal with a handful of extra limbs.
While the original Octodad game was a freeware release, Dadliest Catch is set to be a proper, paid release, and will be available through Steam, Good Old Games, and the Humble Store. After being Greenlit on Steam, Sony quickly jumped on the opportunity to release the game on the PlayStation 4, and some of you might remember Octodad making an appearance during the indie showcase section of their press conference last year.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux on January 30th. While there is no set date for the PS4 version, developer Young Horses is targeting a March release.
