Provided you’re into side-scrolling action games on your PS3, you’re going to be very happy with your Playstation Plus subscription this week.
Why am I so sure of that? Pretty simple- Outland and BloodRayne Betrayal are free as part of the service’s Instant Game Collection. Can you say ‘awesome’? I knew that you could.
Not a subscriber? There’s still a bunch of neat stuff for you to play around with. The Madden demo posted up and there’s a Counter-Strike Pre-Order offer that just might be worth your time. Come to think of it, I didn’t even realize CS was coming to the PS3. Huh.

I dig outland and bloodrayne both. the bummer is, I picked them up earlier this year on a sony sale, so the current batch of new games doesn't do a whole lot for me, unfortunately. I did read however that Red Dead Redemption will be a freebie in Sept, and I've only briefly gotten to play that one so far, so I am pretty excited about that one.
This might be gaming sacrilege, but Red Dead never did a lot for me. Then again, I'm not really a western fan.
Nah, not sacrilege at all. I'm not a big GTA fan either, and big open world games that aren't swords and sorcery don't generally appeal to me a ton, which is why I hadn't purchased Red Dead yet – but at the price of free? I'm willing to at least give it a go I figure
