The Amazing Spider-Man is up on the PSN during the game’s launch week- that’s just nice to see isn’t it? The game headlines what is a big, big week on the service’s PS3 offerings.
In all, six full games hit the service this week including the first two Uncharted games and Resident Evil Chronicles HD. Of course it’s a little bit of a mixed bag, because everything’s way too expensive.
Both Uncharted games can be had for less than $20 USD easily at retail- so that still needs to be improved. Even so, it’s just nice to see these games (some of Sony’s premier offerings) finally getting PSN releases.
Also available this week is a very promising JRPG for the PSP in the form of Unchained Blades- yes, that’s right. The PSP is getting a premium game while the PSV is getting… nothing (outside of a few add-ons)? Yeah, that sounds about right. Oh- almost forgot the best part: It won’t play on the PSV. It’s incompatible. You’re welcome!
If you’re in the market for add-ons though, you’ll have a little bit more luck. There’s a few cool additions in the form of some Gran Turismo 5 content, a Dust 514 bundle pack, and some nifty LBP2 freebies.
And the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut is live too. Hooray?
