Yes Vita fans, there be games in that thar Playstation Network for yer portable console of choice. And they’re not bad games either!
First up is the very interesting Gravity Rush. this one has players taking control of a young girl who has to use her gravity manipulating abilities to try and save a world that’s literally falling apart. This was one of the very first titles shown off for the PSV that had fans and press alike taking note. Which, of course, makes you scratch your head and ask: why’s this just releasing now?
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection also makes its appearance this week. The games themselves look like excellent ports and actually do some very cool things with the Vita’s touch controls- but how big of a fan might you have to be to actually keep buying the same games over and over again? Is there really anyone who’s has the chance to play MGS3 and not done so by now? Admittedly, it’s kind of cool to have a mobile Sons of Liberty, and both titles take advantage of Transfarring, but that’s a steep price to pay just for that.
Also vying for your time this week is the PSV AR puzzler PulzAR (which looks sort of neat), the mean ol’God-game Babel Rising, and some good sales on X-Play’s Games of E3… from ,uh, 2009. Don’t get that one…
One last thing, if you haven’t played Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham City, I have two points for you: Number one- it’s amazing and just posted to the PSN. Number two- shame on you for missing out on one of (if not the) best games of 2011. And if you’re a PS+ subscriber you can even nab it as a full game trial. No excuses- go play it!

I'm happy to be patient for the Vita, but I would like to play something new about now. My last game was Disgaea, which is great, but I've been all about the 3DS for the past month or so.
