Fortune Street Smart hits iOS

The long running Japanese board game series, Fortune Street (known in native Japan as Itadaki Street), has finally made its iOS debut. Complete with an English translation, Fortune Street Smart offers another dose of stock market action that those outside of Japan are probably not too familiar with.

The base game is available for free download, but
as you might expect, it does not include all the game’s content. Only one map called “Shell Isle” is available initially, essentially serving as a demo-esque deal. 11 other maps are available to purchase, if you upgrade to the full version for $4.99 USD via an in-app purchase.

If the screenshots below intrigue you, you can download the game directly from the App Store.

  • Just the other day, while watching someone play it on the Wii I was thinking how cool it would be to have it portable. Insta-download.

  • If it has multiplayer (I have to wait until I can get home to download it), then it looks like we have the numbers for a DD multiplayer club 😀
