Ubisoft has set itself up for a great showing at E3 this year. Assassin’s Creed is obviously the main drawcard, but let’s not forget that Far Cry 3 looks really, really good.
Just to make sure the gaming world tunes in to Ubisoft’s E3 show (11pm GMT), the publisher has released a Far Cry 3 E3 “teaser” trailer. It shows very little gameplay in its one-minute duration, and yet we still can’t help but be excited:
If nothing else, the promise of a new, non-linear FPS is enough to get excited over.

Far Cry 2 is on my short list that I want to start/complete here shortly. Oddly, from the original Far Cry developed by Crytek, to Far Cry 2 (Ubisoft), to Far Cry 3…I wonder how much they overlap, if any…kind of like Red Steel and Red Steel 2 (also Ubisoft associated).
Something odd about throwing a "1, 2, 3, 4" on game label, if there's not a connection of some sort to the previous one I think.
