Diabolical Pitch, the latest Kinect-ed Arcade release, drops this week alongside a pretty nice selection of sale and Arcade titles.
But lets talk DP, because although there’s a baseball element to the game (hence the ‘Pitch’ in the name), this isn’t really a sports game per say. The main character in this little game of oddball is a pitcher that’s been equipped with a bionic arm. He’s capable of producing ‘diabolical’ pitches, which basically means he can throw really hard. The wacky hijinks don’t kick up until he finds himself trapped in an evil amusement park filled with monsters though. What? Yes. No. Yes.
Other than the bizarre hardball action, there’s also a really solid sale going on this week on some of SNK’s titles and the first two Max Payne titles (both of those are well worth playing if you haven’t already). Then there’s a nice little pinball game, some reverse-tower defense, and some finely tailored Sonic 4 threads for your Avatar.
