A very, very thin week of content this week for Nintendo’s fans in the UK and Europe, but at least some what is there is awesome.
The really big one this week is a demo for the soon-to-be released Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. Not that you’ll need encouragement to buy this game, but it’s always fun to try for free.
The 3DS Virtual Console picks up arguably its best platformer of all: Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is an awesome mix of old school platforming and the game style that would become the norm for Wario games. It’s going to set you back £3.60/€4.
DSiWare picks up two games: GO Series: Undead Storm is a cheap little top down shooter (200 points). Successfully Learning Mathematics: Year 4 is 500 points worth of edutainment that is not going to appeal to anyone who already knows basic maths.
Not a single thing for Wii owners, with the exception of a demo for Aya and the Cubes of Light; a game that’s been out a while and you’ve likely already decided on.
Time to start pulling out the big games, Nintendo.
Not the best of weeks for the downloads. The Wii variety in particular is poor beyond belief but at least it picks up a bit more for the handhelds.

I think the Wii's a bit of a lost cause now, unfortunately. Still, Wario Land is a brilliant little game, and will be enough for this week in itself.

Agreed, it's reaching the end of it's life now. Well, can't say it didn't have a good run though
