Napoleon has always been a popular topic for wargames. His battles are historically memorable for the broad range of tactics that were at play, and hey, who doesn’t like to be a world-conqueror?
Field of Glory is a tabletop game that Matrix/ Slitherine has successfully adapted to videogames in the past (read our review of one of the games in the long running series here). Now, the good news is that the two are being brought together for Field of Glory: Napoleonic, due in early 2012.
Expect another perfect recreation of the tabletop game rules, and plenty of historical battles to reenact.
No screenshots yet; expect the game to look much like the other games in the series i.e accurate recreations of real-life tabletops, without a whole lot of flash.
