The fifth installment of GAMEVIL’s popular Zenonia action/RPG series lands on Apple devices.
Zenonia 5: Wheel of Destiny picks up “long after” Zenonia 4 ended and takes players on a quest through a world that’s fallen into corruption at the hands of some very bad folk.
The game offers four classes to choose from, a “classic” quest system and “endless skill building”. There’s also a global Player vs Player system that allows players to go head to head via an online connection.
Zenonia 5: Wheel of Destiny is available now on the App Store for free, you can grab it for yourself right here.
I've got this on iPad and I've been playing on and off the last couple of days. It's not bad, though it pushes the freemium model a little too aggressively.
Tell you what, though, this series has come a long way visually – this looks so very much better than the original Zenonia.
The first few were kind of 16bit throwback titles right? Or am I thinking of something else?
That's right – a bit like a Mana game, really. They're all very playable, if a little too forgettable for their own good. Going free to play was a wise move for the series.
